All That Jazz

All That Jazz has an interesting combination of colors — red, gold, with hints of purple and a green center. The blooms are huge and on sturdy stems. Because of the color combinations it is decently versatile in bouquets.

All That Jazz blooms a bit later than some other varieties, but it chugs out the flowers once it gets going. It’s a robust plant, and creates very large and reliable tubers. (I would consider giving this dahlia more space than my typical recommendation of 12 inches of space because the plant gets so bushy and the tuber clump gets big.)

Height: Medium — about 4’ tall

Tuber rating: 10/10 - super reliable
