Apple Blossom
Apple Blossom
Appleblossom is one of the most popular dahlias out there. It's a sweet pinkish gold daisy-like bloom with a unique coloring. Collarette dahlias don’t last as long as ball dahlias once cut, so I don’t grow too many collarette varieties but Apple Blossom is an exception due to its gorgeous colors.
Its blooms are usually about 4" wide and the plant will reach heights up to 4.5 feet.
My favorite thing about this dahlia: It seems to bloom more profusely later in the season. In late October and November, it really hit its stride and I could hardly keep up with harvesting the flowers.
Bloom size: 4”
Height: Medium — about 4’ to 4.5’ feet tall
Tuber rating: Produces a lot of decent tubers and overwinters well in raised beds
Year I started growing this dahlia: 2021
This listing is for one tuber or one small tuber clump, which will produce one dahlia plant.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to my business focusing on the greater West Seattle community, this year my dahlia tuber presale will take place at the end of February and will be for local pick up only in early April. No delivery or shipping (sorry!)
I will likely have a dahlia tuber restock sale in March, which I may open for shipping, depending on local demand.
