Cafe Au Lait
Cafe Au Lait
Cafe Au Lait is the queen of all dahlias. She is a dinnerplate dahlia, meaning she produces blooms up to 8” in diameter. The blooms are typically pale pink but they get lighter as the season progresses and the days get shorter.
Cafe Au Lait typically reaches heights of 4 feet but because of how heavy her blooms are, you will definitely want support so she doesn’t tip over.
My favorite thing about this dahlia: It is THE most recognizable dahlia and well loved by everyone.
Bloom size: Large - 8”
Height: Medium — about 4’ to 4.5’ feet tall
Tuber rating: CAL tubers are OK — they’ve always stored pretty decent for me, but they tend to be a bit soften than other varieties, which affect their durability over winter.
Year I started growing this dahlia: 2023
This listing is for one tuber or one small tuber clump, which will produce one dahlia plant.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to my business focusing on the greater West Seattle community, this year my dahlia tuber presale will take place at the end of February and will be for local pick up only in early April. No delivery or shipping (sorry!)
I will likely have a dahlia tuber restock sale in March, which I may open for shipping, depending on local demand.
