Chewy is a golden orange dahlia with hints of pink and purple. Also, the petals sparkle when the evening sun hits the plant. The center of the plant is green, but fades as the bloom develops. The color will vary as the season goes on, but overall it’s a beautiful dahlia that I love growing year after year.
My favorite thing about this dahlia: The bloom size, shape and amazing blend of colors.

Height: Short/medium — averages about 3.5 feet
Tuber rating: This dahlia produces a decent number of tuber that do OK over winter. I’ve never had any issues with tuber development (or I wouldn’t sacked this variety ages ago) but I’ve heard complaints it’s not as resilient as other varieties.
