Take Off
Take Off
Take Off is a productive anemone dahlia that produces small fun blooms.
The center is a creamy gold while its petals are a soft lavender.
Even though it’s anemone dahlia, it has a longer-than-normal lifespan due to the size and shape of the blooms since the petal don’t fold as far back as a typical anemone dahlia.
Take Off is a bit of a late bloomer, but once it gets going it really takes off (sorry for the name play) and pump out blooms as long as possible.
While Take Off is a beautiful dahlia, and looks great in bouquets, it’s not the best cut flower due to thinner-than-ideal stems that can result in the blooms popping off when handled too roughly.
My favorite thing about this dahlia: It produces a lot of unique blooms and a lot of tubers.
Bloom size: Medium - 4”
Height: tall — 4’ to 5’
Tuber rating: Produces tubers in abundance.
Year I started growing this dahlia: 2022
This listing is for one tuber or one small tuber clump, which will produce one dahlia plant.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to my business focusing on the greater West Seattle community, this year my dahlia tuber presale will take place at the end of February and will be for local pick up only in early April. No delivery or shipping (sorry!)
I will likely have a dahlia tuber restock sale in March, which I may open for shipping, depending on local demand.
